Muddy Boots Forest School takes place at the Meeting House, Selly Oak.
Our outdoor setting is a beautiful woodland area with an abundance of trees, wild flowers and wild life for children to safely explore and connect to nature.
We have set out areas for children to play and interact and each week will will introduce new skills and activities!
The Meeting House is set back from a long driveway off the Bristol Road. It is easily accessible by car and public transport.
There is parking for about 16 cars.

A bit about me...
Hi I'm Vicky and I am the founder of Muddy Boots Forest School!
I have over 40 years worth of experience working with children, building a wealth of experience and knowledge about their developmental needs.
Prior to becoming a level 3 qualified forest school practioner, I worked in a primary school as a HLTA for 20 years specializing in Early years.
Whilst my own children were growing up I moved from working in private day nurseries to becoming a registered childminder.
My passion for forest school stems from my observation about the importance of outdoor play. I believes children should have the opportunity and freedom to explore, discover and learn through hands on experience. I encourage curiosity and creativity whilst developing confidence and a connection to nature.
Some of my favorite authors are Dorothy Edwards, Enid Blyton and Julia Donaldson! You'll see many of their books within our sessions!
My hobbies include: weekly mediation sessions, walking, reading.
I have two adult daughters, one of which works in a bakery (expect tasty-treats from time-to-time!)
My Favourite place in the world is San Stefonos, Corfu!
